Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage Reopens September 27

The Disney Parks Blog announced today that Finding Nemo Submarine will reopen on September 27th.

When the Subs closed there were rumors that they were closing forever. Mostly because of cost cutting measures. Also according to the rumors, the construction walls with “returning soon” type language were a ruse by Disney to hide the fact that there were indeed closing forever.

We here at the Disgeek Podcast has stated that this was a bogus rumor from the beginning. At this point MiceChat has lost pretty much all credibility with us. The rumor was ridiculous to begin with and the fact they were SO INSISTENT on it being true made me want to challenge it as hard as I did. Everything from the rumor itself and the fact they put up scaffolding to fool people was just unbelievable and extremely irresponsible.

In other news the same blog post from the Disney Parks Blog also mentioned that Alice in Wonderland will reopen on the 4th of July and that the new Frozen Pre-Parade float will debut on Friday, June 13th.

As I mentally prepare for the Rock Your Disney Side Party on May 23, 2014, I was just wondering what the deal was for the Restaurants and Quick-Service food options. Were they going to be open? Is the menu limited? As if the writers of the Disney Parks Blog heard my inner thoughts they published an article about this very topic.
