About Us

Daniel Hale

Daniel can be ranked among an elite group of Disney fanatics; those who can tell you just about any factoid about Disneyland. Well almost.   He’s been to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim California and the Magic Kingdom in Orlando countless times, and has been following current events in the World of Disney theme parks for nearly twenty years. He has decided to share his vast wealth of knowledge and trivia, and to bring the Hard Disney Facts to the table with the DisGeek Podcast.

In his professional life, Daniel is is a webmaster who has launched sites for Top Cow Comics, THQ, Qantas Airlines and The Universal Music Publishing Group among many others. He is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company in any way.  He’s just a super-fan of all things Disneyland and visits the park with his lovely wife Laurie, his two daughters, Marlee (8 years) and Allyson (4 years) and his son Aiden (5 years) as often as possible. Which is often.

Jae Brattain

Jae is an avid reader of all things Disney related. He was born and raised in Southern California, so he has literally grown up with Disneyland. Jae goes to the Disneyland Resort frequently and tries to attend as many special events as possible, both inside and outside the parks. Not only is he an Annual Passholder, he is also a Charter Member of Disney D23.

Jae is also a fan of history. He received his BA in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He also has a Master’s Degree in History from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Although his current occupation does not allow him enough time to read everything and anything about the history of Disney, he does his best to keep as informed as possible.

Jae is not a fan of Twitter, but welcomes any messages through e-mail.
